Areas Of Use

It is used for filling 1 - 6 mm joint gaps in interior and exterior areas, floors and walls, with ceramic, marble, natural stone, and glass mosaic cladding materials. It is suitable for use in industrial areas that require heavy traffic, mechanical and chemical cleaning, as well as terraces and balconies.

Packaging & Storage

It should be stored in its unopened original packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. The suitable storage temperature should be between +5°C and +25°C. The shelf life is 12 months from the production date, provided that it is stored under proper conditions.

Safety Recommendations

During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. During use, gloves, protective clothing, mask, and goggles should be worn.

Application Method

On average, 6.20 – 6.60 liters of clean water should be gradually added to 20 kg of DRZ FLEX 1.6. It should be mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, preferably using a low-speed mixer or trowel. No substance other than those specified in the application instructions should be added to the mixture. Adding too much or too little water can cause cracking, dusting, and discoloration. The prepared mortar should be allowed to mature for 5 – 10 minutes. Before starting the application, it should be mixed again for 1 – 2 minutes. The mortar should be spread on the surface and filled into the grout joints with a rubber trowel using cross movements. Excess material should be scraped off the surface. After the material has lost its water content and becomes dull, usually after 10 – 20 minutes, the surface should be cleaned with a damp sponge using circular movements. If the application is made under unsuitable environmental conditions such as direct sunlight or wind, or if it is between highly absorbent materials that have been exposed to the sun, this time may shorten. If the cleaning is done too early or with a very wet sponge, there may be color streaking problems. The sponge should be cleaned frequently. After ensuring that the applied grout has dried enough not to come out of the joints, any residue left on the surface should be cleaned. The mixture should be used within 1 hour after preparation.
