Nanocold RS - 2K

Cold Polyurea NanoCold RS 2K is a two-component, fast-curing, cold-applied, brushed pure polyurea waterproofing material. It forms an elastic and durable film layer on the applied surfaces. For use in outdoor and exposed areas, NP-PUR 850 should be applied as a topcoat.

General Characteristics
It is easily applied with a brush, roller, or spray. It does not require expensive application equipment or machinery. Once applied, it forms a seamless film layer that prevents joint formation or leakage. It provides an elastomeric and hydrophobic layer. It is effective against water vapor permeability. Due to its breathable structure, it does not cause moisture accumulation under the layer. NanoCold RS 2K can be easily and quickly repaired if damaged in any way. It provides effective resistance to chemicals. It cures quickly in all weather conditions and has heat resistance performance between -40°C and +90°C.

Packaing & Storage

25 kg (Component A) + 1.5 kg (Component B) in a metal container The product can be stored in its unopened original packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C for a maximum of 12 months. Once opened, the product should be used as soon as possible.

Safety Recommendations

During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be prevented. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. Protective gloves, clothing, mask, and goggles should be worn during use.

Application Method

Surface Preparation: Before application, factors that may weaken adhesion and bonding, such as oil, grease, paraffin residues, cement laitance, loose particles, mold release agents, and cured old membranes, should be removed from the surface. After cleaning the surface with high-pressure water, it should be dried. Surface irregularities should be repaired with suitable products. Priming: For absorbent surfaces such as concrete, cement, or screed, NANOPUR PRIMER 1K or NANOPOX PRIMER SF should be used. For damp surfaces, WET 2C should be preferred. Application: Components A and B should be mixed in their respective containers with a low-speed mixer for 2-3 minutes. Then, the components should be combined and mixed with a low-speed mixer for 3 to 4 minutes to make it ready for use. The material should be applied to the pre-primed surface using a roller or brush, covering the entire surface with a minimum of one or two coats. After the first coat, if necessary, the second coat can be applied within a maximum of 3 hours.
