Nanoband-D

TPE-based expansion joint tape. It is an expansion joint tape made of thermoplastic elastomer, used for sealing and nsulating wall and floor junctions as well as all types of building and expansion joints.

General Characteristics
It is practical to apply. It can be easily applied even with excess reinforcement. Joining the seams is simply done by placing them side by side and pressing. It comes in rolls, so it can be easily applied by one person. It expands at an ideal speed in a controlled manner, so it does not expand suddenly during fresh concrete pouring. It expands in salty water.

Packaging & Storage

The 25-meter roll should be stored in its unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost. The appropriate storage temperature should be between +5°C and +80°C. Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is unlimited from the production date.

Safety Recommendations

During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, wash with plenty of water. If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help. During use, gloves, protective clothing, a mask, and safety goggles should be worn.

Application Method

The surface should be dry and clean. Application should not be done on wet, icy, oily, muddy, or dusty surfaces, or during rainy weather. Cut an adequate length of NANOBAND-D from the roll. Stick the exposed surface of the NANOBAND-D to the concrete. For vertical and upside-down applications, press for at least 15 seconds to ensure good adhesion. Use polyurethane mounting mastic where necessary. Bring the joints 10 cm side by side and overlap them. On uneven surfaces, ensure that the tape makes contact with every point of the surface. Peel off the silicone paper and finish the process in a controlled manner.
