Two-component flexible polyurethane injection resin
PURJAK-IN 655 is a two-component, low-viscosity, closed-cell injection resin that reacts
with moisture and water. It is a special polyurethane-based
injection resin used to stop pressurized or non-pressurized water leaking from cracks in
concrete surfaces.
General Characteristics
It reacts upon contact with water, expands, cures, and transforms
into a dense, flexible, and pore-free foam. It provides complete water
impermeability. It has high adhesion power even in humid environments.
It is resistant to weak acids, alkalis, organic solvents, mold, fungi, and
microorganisms. There is no harm to health when it comes into contact
with drinking water. It is easy to apply. It performs effectively in sealing
cracks, voids, and joints in concrete. The reaction time is adjustable.
Due to its low viscosity, it penetrates very well into capillary cracks. It
does not contain solvents.

It is used in areas where water insulation is required, in filling and repair work, crack injections, areas exposed to movement in concrete structures and in expansion joints to stop water leaks, in tunnels, bridges, and all structural elements, to stop water leaks at the junctions of tunnel segments, in segment back wall injection works, in pre-injection work in sandy soil and fractured rocks, and in the stabilization of sandy and gravelly soils.
The product is available in sets of 25 kg + 2.5 kg metal packaging and is beige transparent-yellow in color. The product can be stored in unopened original packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C for a maximum of 12 months. Once opened, the product should be used as soon as possible.
During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be prevented. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If the material comes into contact with the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water and seek medical help. During use, gloves, protective clothing, a mask, and goggles should be worn.
Surface Preparation: Cracks to be applied should be cleaned with compressed air, and free particles, oils, paints, and other substances should be removed. Mixing: The required amount of catalyst is added to the PURJAK-IN 655 resin and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The catalyst ratio should be determined by conducting preliminary tests, considering factors such as ambient temperature, humidity, and water temperature. During mixing, the resin should be kept away from water, as it will react, start foaming, and begin freezing and clogging inside the equipment. The mixture will not react as long as it does not come into contact with water.
