Repox T-1025

It is an epoxy-based, two-component, trowel-grade mortar designed for structural repairs, used for mounting and anchoring applications. It is a specially developed, high-strength, two-component epoxy material with a thixotropic consistency, used for bonding and repair applications, particularly for adhering PVC, TPE, and expansion joint membranes to expansion joints in overhead and horizontal applications.

General Characteristics
Does not sag due to its thixotropic / trowelable consistency. Strong adhesion to concrete, metal, wood, and stone surfaces. Non-shrink. Does not settle or form sediment. Can be applied on dry or slightly damp surfaces. Impermeable to mineral oils, petroleum, and acids. Highly resistant to seawater, diesel, gasoline, and cleaning agents. Resistant to vibration. Impermeable to water and gas. High abrasion resistance. Suitable for reinforcement and anchorage applications. Pedestrian traffic allowed after 24 hours, heavy traffic after 7 days.

Areas Of Use

It is used for bonding viaduct pier bearings. It is used in structural repair and reinforcement. It is used for the repair and bonding of all types of materials such as concrete, stone, and marble, and for the installation of horizontal and vertical anchors.

Packaging & Storage

5 kg set (3.75 kg (A), 1.25 kg (B)) In its original packaging, when stored in ventilated, dry, and protected environments at +5°C / +25°C, away from sunlight, rain, and freezing, its shelf life is 1 year from the production date.

Safety Recommendations

During mixing and application, contact of the material with skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Gloves, protective clothing, mask, and goggles must be worn during use.

Application Method

The surface to be applied should be cleaned and freed from foreign materials such as oil, rust, and paint. Depending on the condition of the concrete surface, it may need to be roughened. If the reinforcement in the concrete is rusty, it should be cleaned, and new reinforcement should be added if necessary. The concrete to be applied should be at least 28 days old and the surface must be dry. For steel surfaces, it should be sandblasted or cleaned with a brush until shiny metal is exposed. Component B is added to Component A and mixed for 3-4 minutes with a low-speed mixer. The amount of material to be mixed should be based on the pot life. At high temperatures, the pot life of the material is reduced. Immediately after mixing, the material is applied to the surface with a spatula or trowel. The application thickness should be between 2-30 mm per layer. For bonding applications, if the product is used between two materials, it should be applied to both surfaces. After the desired thickness is applied, the bonded parts should be held pressed together until the polymerization is completed.
