Nanorep Primer

Cement-based corrosion inhibitor performance-enhancing primer application. It is a single-component, polymer-modified, thixotropic-trowel and brush consistency mortar that contains silica fume and special cement and corrosion-inhibiting chemicals. It protects the steel reinforcement in concrete from rust, provides adhesion between old and fresh concrete, and is mixed with water.

General Characteristics
It is easy to apply with a brush. Provides protection against rust. Protects reinforcement from moisture. High adhesion strength to concrete, mortar, and steel. Can also be applied with a spraying system. Impermeable. Resistant to chloride, water, sulfate, and carbon dioxide effects. Has high mechanical strength. Non-toxic. Does not contain solvents.

25 kg Kraft Bag

Application Method

The surfaces to be applied should be damp; dry surfaces must be moistened before application. After cleaning the rust from the reinforcement, NANOREP PRIMER is applied in two coats with a medium-hard brush. The second coat is applied 3-5 hours after the first coat. Each coat forms an average thickness of 1mm. After applying NANOREP PRIMER, the rods should be coated with cement or epoxybased mortars. Cement-based mortars should be applied no earlier than 4 hours after NANOREP PRIMER application, while epoxy-based mortars should be applied no earlier than 24 hours after.
