Safety Recommendations

During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Gloves, protective clothing, a mask, and safety glasses should be worn during use.

Application Method

For cement-based surfaces, the surfaces to be applied should be solid, free from dust and dirt, and level. Areas requiring repair should be repaired with NANOREP FT series repair mortars no later than 1 day before application. If the surface temperature is above +20°C, the surface should be lightly dampened. The appropriate amount of water, as described on the packaging, should be poured into a clean mixing container. Open the GY FIXER 45 bag and slowly add it to the water, while mixing with a 400 - 600 RPM drill mixer until homogeneous, for about 3-4 minutes. There should be no lumps in the mixture. After allowing the mixture to rest for 3 minutes, stir again for 1 minute to prepare it for application. A 1 mm thick layer of GY FIXER 45 is applied to the surface with the flat side of the trowel. Within the open waiting time of 15-20 minutes, GY FIXER 45 is drawn in one direction over the aerated concrete area, which is large enough to be covered, using the notched side of the trowel to achieve a uniform thickness. The laid aerated concrete blocks should be compacted from above and the sides to make them suitable for string lines and the level. The specified consumption amount is theoretical and may vary depending on the application temperature, the size of the aerated concrete, the surface, and workmanship. A sample application is recommended for consumption control. After application, the surface should be protected from unfavorable weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong winds, high air temperature (≥+35°C), rain, and frost. Before the product hardens, hands and application tools should be cleaned with water and detergent.
