Areas Of Use

AKR BRUT is a polymer-modified, resin-based primer designed to ensure good adhesion of gypsum or cement-based plasters to concrete walls and ceilings. It is easy to apply, enhancing the workability and working time of gypsum and cement-based plasters. It prevents rapid water loss in these plasters. It is solvent-free and odorless.

Packaging & Storage

12 kg PP Bucket should be stored in its unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost. The suitable storage temperature should be between +5°C and +25°C. The shelf life, under proper storage conditions, is 12 months from the production date.

Safety Recommendations

During application and mixing, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If the material comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention. During use, gloves, protective clothing, masks, and goggles should be worn.

Application Method

The surface must be free of dust, grease, curing agents, paint, and other loose particles, and care should be taken to ensure the surface is dry. 2-4 liters of water is added to a 12 kg AKR BRUT bucket. It is mixed for 3-5 minutes with a 400-600 RPM mixer. The material should be stirred occasionally during application. The mixed material is applied to the surface using a textured roller. After 24 hours, the application of plaster or cement-based renders can begin. Depending on the surface’s absorbency, the consumption of AKR BRUT material is: 100-200 g/m² for undiluted application, and 200-350 g/m² for diluted application.
